Yankee is a Latino man with a beard and mustache. He wears a black baseball cap, black T-shirt, light blue pants, several bracelets on his left wrist, a black watch, and a necklace.
Yankee:
"Hello! My name is Yankee."
Sign name: The letter Y is made on the forearm, resembling someone playing a guitar.
"Are you ready?! Welcome to the Twin Cities, Minnesota! We have a coffee shop called Dunn Bros, and their coffee is delicious! You'll love all the different drinks they offer. If you're spending time at Loring Park, stop by, grab a coffee, and enjoy!"
The video pans to The 19 Bar.
Yankee:
"Welcome to The 19 Bar! Please excuse the painting-they're getting everything ready for Twin Cities Pride.
If you're hanging out at Loring Park and want to grab a drink, this is the perfect place. It's just around the corner from the park.
One important thing to know: they do not accept credit or debit cards. Please bring cash, or you can use the ATM inside."
The camera pans from the restaurant sign down to the entrance as Yankee opens the door.
Yankee:
"Hello! This is Chickin Place. The food here is delicious!
There are so many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance of both Loring Park and the Hyatt hotel. You'll have plenty of great places to choose from!"
Yankee gives a thumbs-up.
The video pans from the Nicollet Diner sign toward Yankee.
Yankee:
"Stretch... wake up... it's Sunday and the final day of DQMO!
We'll be meeting here for brunch before we say goodbye. Nicollet Diner is directly across from the Hyatt and is open 24 hours a day. It's also just a short walk from Loring Park.
Right next door is an awesome store called Rainbow Road. They have lots of fun things to buy!"
The camera pans from the Rainbow Road sign to Yankee.
Yankee:
"Remember when I mentioned Rainbow Road? Let's go inside and take a look!"
The camera follows Yankee as he walks into the store. It pans around the colorful merchandise before stopping at a store employee-a white man wearing a hot pink shirt and a backward baseball cap. He waves hello with a playful, campy gesture.
The camera returns to Yankee.
Yankee:
"He's awesome! If you have any questions while you're shopping, just ask one of the staff. They'll be happy to help."
The camera continues panning around the store, showcasing the wide variety of Pride merchandise and gifts.
The final slide shows a purple background with a shirtless man signing "I Love You."
