Welcome to the beautiful lake behind me.
This is Loring Park!
On Friday, July 31, we'll spend the day here for Loring Park Adventures during DQMO Twin Cities 2026.
We'll have lots of fun activities including basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and plenty of opportunities to relax and socialize.
If you don't want to stay outside, the Community Center is right behind me. Inside we'll have card games, restrooms, and a place to socialize and cool off.
There's also a coffee shop nearby and The 19 Bar, an LGBTQIA+ bar, just a short walk away.
We'll have plenty of snacks, fresh fruit, vegetables, and bottled water available throughout the day.
We're excited to have you join us!"

"This is the public wading pool.
It's open to everyone, so don't forget to bring your swimsuit and sunscreen.
The pool is only about one foot deep, making it a great place to sit, relax, and cool off."

Jack appears with a rainbow mural behind him.
"As you can see, this field is where we'll play volleyball and enjoy yard games.
The tennis courts will be used for pickleball.
Members of the DQMO Committee will be happy to give you a tour of Loring Park if you'd like to learn more about the area.
Right now it may be hard to imagine, but after Twin Cities Pride is over, this park will be transformed with tents, games, activities, and lots of opportunities to socialize."
Jack gives a thumbs-up.

Throughout the day you can play sports, cool off in the pool, grab a coffee, visit The 19 Bar, explore the Walker Art Center, or simply spend time with friends.
We ask everyone to wear your DQMO Twin Cities 2026 shirt on Friday because we'll meet here at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden for our official group photo at 4:00 PM.
We can't wait to see you all!"
