Why Volunteer? Help create an unforgettable experience for 250+ attendees. Support Deaf Queer Men from across North America. Meet new people and make connections. Show off the best of Minnesota. Volunteers must be respectful for Deaf Queer Men space. Have fun!

Slide 3: Event Overview. July 29 - August 2, 2026. Main locations: Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, Loring Park, Walker Art Center, Twin Cities Tour Locations. Expected attendance: 250 guests

Slide 4: Event Overview Cont. Twin Cities Pride Festival Weekend - Saturday June 27, and Sunday June 28. DQMO will be sharing a booth with Minnesota Deaf Queer during Twin Cities Pride Weekend. We are seeking 3-5 volunteers to help: represent DQMO at the booth, share information about our organization and events, sell raffle tickets, promote raffle prizes and artwork, and engage with festival attendees.

Slide 5: Event Overview Cont. Community Gathering & Cookout - Saturday, July 11 at 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. We are looking for 3-5 volunteers to represent DQMO at the Community Gathering & Cookout. Volunteers will help welcome attendees, answer questions about DQMo, share information about our upcoming events, and connect with community members.

Slide 6: Wednesday, July 29: Opening Ceremony & Registration. Volunteer Needs: registration table, welcome team, room setup, signage, hospitality table, and wayfinding assistance

Slide 7: Thursday, July 30: Workshops and Lunch. Charles Thompson Hall. Volunteers needs: lunch preparation, food setup, food service, beverage station, cleanup crew, workshop room support, set up tents, tables, and chairs outside.

Slide 8: Friday, July 31: Loring Park Adventure Day. Volunteer Needs: tent, table, and chairs set up, yard games set up, lunch & snack station, water station, accessibility support, and cleanup crew

Slide 9: Saturday, Aug 1st: Twin Cities Tours. Tour Guides, location greeters, walking tour support, photo stops, and general assistance.

Slide 10: Saturday, August 1st: Closing Ceremony @ WAC. Volunteers needs: closing ceremony set up, raffle/bid for quilt, and check-in support.
