[Transcript: "Welcome to DQMO 2026 in the Twin Cities. This is Andy (name sign). I am going to talk about submitting the bid. This is for the next group that wants to host DQMO in 2028. I am going to share the criteria for submitting the bids. I will outline two key criteria for submitting videos: creating a bid video and a winner video. Starting with the bid video, I want you to create a marketing style bid, explain about the location where you will be hosting, like, what does the location look like? Ensure that you create a video of up to 3 minutes in length, sharing about the location for DQMO 2028. We will share the videos, and they can get ideas. Create a video that attracts the audience, and let them see what you will be offering. We also want to get a 2nd video from you. Imagine if you win the bid for DQMO 2028, create a mesmerizing video, and then we want to use the video during the closing ceremony and reveal the winning bid. Please seriously think with your group about hosting, and things you need to know, like finding a good fiscal agent, ensuring the location offers inclusive and ample activities, ensuring the location offers safety, and is queer-friendly. Share as much as you can! We don't want a last-minute bid or a last-minute presentation. We want the video announcement. We want everyone to enjoy the process and allow everyone to discuss the bids. Once everyone is satisfied with the discussion, then we will vote. The DQMO committee will tally and let you know the outcome during the closing ceremony. If you have any questions, please contact me at andrew.bjarnvold@gmail.com. The deadline for submitting the bid will be on June 30th. It will allow us to prepare better, and we won't accept any late-minute submissions. Contact us if you have any questions. Thank you! Wishing you the best of luck submitting the bid for DQMO 2028! See you there!"]
