Visual Transcript

A white background appears with the black DQMO Twin Cities 2026 logo and signature splatter effect on the right.

The video begins with a panoramic view of the Walker Art Center. The building's bold yellow exterior stands out as the camera approaches the main entrance. Inside the lobby, several people can be seen walking around. The camera then pans to the lower reception area where appetizers and the cash bar will be available during the closing celebration.

The video continues down the hallway and up the staircase to the second-floor reception area. This beautiful space features soaring ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and scenic views of the rolling green hillside and trees. Guests will enjoy food, drinks, and socializing in both the lower and upper reception areas before the ceremony begins.

Next, the camera enters the Cinema Theatre. Rows of comfortable red theater seats fill the room. This is where the DQMO Twin Cities 2026 Closing Ceremony will take place, including the announcement of the 2028 bid city and our official group photo.

The camera pans along a wall featuring musical staff lines and abstract markings before arriving at a large black wall with bold red lettering reading Christine Sun Kim, with white text above and below that reads ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT.

Standing in front of the exhibition is Tim.

Tim is a white man with strawberry-blond hair and a light beard. He is wearing a black DQMO Committee T-shirt and black shorts.

Tim:

"Hello! Welcome to DQMO Twin Cities 2026!

My name is Tim."

Sign name: The letter T is tapped against the side of the forehead.

"I'm part of the DQMO Twin Cities 2026 Planning Committee.

This beautiful place is called the Walker Art Center, or WAC, and it will be the home of our Closing Ceremony.

Walker Art Center is also featuring a special exhibition by Deaf artist Christine Sun Kim called All Day All Night.

During registration, you'll receive a complimentary admission ticket so you can explore the exhibition while you're enjoying Loring Park Adventure Day.

Before the Closing Ceremony begins, we'll gather in the reception spaces you saw earlier. We'll be using both the lower and upper levels for food, drinks, and socializing.

We'll have a variety of catered appetizers available throughout the evening, along with a buffet, and a cash bar on both levels. The bar accepts both cash and credit cards.

After we've had time to eat, drink, and visit with friends, we'll head into the Cinema Theatre. You'll feel like you're at the movies while enjoying our Closing Ceremony, celebrating an incredible week together, and finding out which city will host DQMO in 2028!

We're so excited to welcome you to this beautiful venue. We hope you'll leave inspired and take wonderful memories of Minnesota home with you.

See you at the Closing Ceremony!"

The final slide shows a purple background featuring a shirtless man with the outline of Minnesota behind him. White text reads:
