[Opening - DQMO Twin Cities 2026 Logo appears and fades away]
Hello everyone! My name is Tim Riker (signs his name, T double tap on side of forehead). I will do a visual description of myself. I am a white male with honey amber hair parted to the left, blue eyes, and short trimmed reddish blonde beard and moustache. I am wearing a black short-sleeved polo shirt and sitting in front of a black background.
Attention! We're less than 20 days away from registration opening for DQMO Twin Cities 2026!

Why Loring Park? For decades, it has been the heart of the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Minnesota. Since the early 1970s, this park has been home to Twin Cities Pride, one of the largest free Pride festivals in the nation. It's a place where our community has marched, celebrated, and fought for visibility and equality.

Minnesota itself has a proud history of firsts. In 1993, we became the first state in the nation to ban discrimination based on both sexual orientation and gender identity in law. In 2013, Minnesota was among the first Midwestern states to legalize same-sex marriage. And today, Minneapolis continues to stand as a beacon of LGBTQIA2S+ rights and culture.

Loring Park isn't just a location-it's a living symbol of resilience, joy, and community power. And in 2026, it will welcome hundreds of us for DQMO Twin Cities-a celebration of Deaf Queer Men Only that blends history, culture, and connection.
